Little Devil — State of the Game: December 2025

Welcome to the Little Devil December 2025 State of the Game update! Hello everyone, Michael here!

So, I haven’t forgotten about these State of the games. I am just moving them to the end of the month (technically beginning of the next month) to be more appropriate.

So, let’s get on with this!

Website

So, to start with, there is now a new website dedicated to just Little Devil! So, feel free to come check it out here! This site holds some of the information/updates/lore for Little Devil along with being the new hosting place for the Little Devil comic, which tells the story before the game!

Steam Art/Logo – Updates

I have updated all of the Steam art as well as updating the logo, to make it look nicer and be more readable.

Menu

I have created a full, working, menu for the game now. Allowing you to change the controls, see game data, change difficulty and all other settings you may want to change/see. This also comes with 3 save slots, allowing multiple saves on the one game. The only part of the menu that is not done yet, is the achievements menu.

I will sort out achievements later but these will also activate on Steam as Steam achievements as well.

UI Update

I gave a big update to the in-game UI. Replacing some of the images (like the hearts, souls and coins), also placing them differently etc. Along with this, I have also added in an enemy icon and health bar, so that you can see how much damage you are doing!

One Hit Wonders

We have a few new One Hit Wonders, all working and in the game now!

Enemy Update

One of the enemies from the comic has now made it into the game, the Looky Liu! It has had an art update too!

This looky liu shoots lasers in all 4 directions at once so, be careful!

Boss UI

The Boss UI has also been updated. They have a much smaller health bar than before, as well as a little icon. You may notice the yellow colour of Gluttonys health bar, this is because bosses have multiple health bars. So… good luck getting through them all!

As well as this, the map has been removed from the screen during boss fights, as there really is no need for it. This gives more room on the screen, rather than cluttering everything.

There have been some other updates as well behind the scenes, player health UI, Data management etc…. probably other things I have forgotten too!
