“Little Devil already feels like a hidden gem under development. It has enough style, enough chaos, and enough fun already to make it stand out from the pack.”

About Little Devil

Little Devil is an upcoming top-down roguelike horror-comedy developed by MI Pixel, a solo indie studio based in Essex, UK. Targeting a Q4 2026 release on Steam PC and Steam Deck, the game features procedurally generated dungeons, permadeath, and a 90s Sega Mega Drive aesthetic.

The game is accompanied by the Little Devil Webcomic — a free twice weekly pixel art comic telling the story before the game. Now over 130 pages across three story arcs.

What Awaits You in Hell

Hell is a big place. Unfortunately for Little Devil, it is also a very stupid one. Here is what you can expect when you descend:

  • Procedurally generated dungeons — no two trips to Hell are the same
  • Puzzle rooms and trial rooms — because suffering should be varied
  • A full shop and currency system, run by someone with very strong opinions about being shot
  • Three equipment types — Stackables, Soul Abilities, and One Hit Wonders — because one way to die is never enough One-off items scattered throughout Hell’s lost property
  • The Vestibule — a hub full of unlockable knowledge including a Bestiary, Stackable dictionary, and Boss data for those who like to know what killed them
  • Unlockable characters — Hell has a surprisingly large cast
  • Enemy variants — even the cannon fodder has range
  • The Seven Deadly Sins standing between you and victory, each one worse than the last
  • Lucifer — who has daddy issues, a throne, and absolutely no intention of making this easy
